Poker Night Goes off Without a Hitch, But not a lot of support

The regulars, a couple extra and some looky loos.

Poker night happened, but with no big todo.

In the end there was a 3 way chop.

Next time I will give extra notice and hopefully take RSVP's

If I don't get enough RSVP's I can just do something else.

St Croix Casino:
Every Thursday at 6pm $50.00 + $10.00 registration at 4pm seated players get first option. Players start with $3,000.00 in tournament chips. Re-entries allowed for the first hour. Every Saturday at NOON $100.00 + $15.00 registration at 10am seated players get first option. Players start with $15,000.00 in tournament chips. Blinds go up 25 minutes. Re-entries allowed for the first hour. First Wednesday of each month 6:30pm Ladies only tournament $50.00 + $10.00 registration at 4pm seated players get first option. Players start with $3,000.00 in tournament chips.

Bounty Tournament - Every 1st & 3rd Saturday. $180 buy-in $20 entry-fee. Players will start with $15,000
in chips and the blinds will go up every 30 minutes. There is a $50 bounty on each player in the tournament.
Bounties come out of prize pool. Registration at 10am and the tournament starts at noon.


Sunday Poker Tournament NEW!

1st & 3rd Sunday of each month at 2:00pm. Registration starts at noon, $25 buy-in $5 entry-fee players
start with 2,000 in tournament chips. Unlimited re-buys for the first hour player must have $500 or less
in chips to re-buy, $20 for $2,000 in chips. One add on at the end of the first hour $20 for $2,000 in chips.
Anyone still in the tournament may do the add on regardless of how many chips they have. Blinds will go up
every 20 minutes.


Ho Chunk Casino:
No-Limit Texas Hold’em. Tuesdays and Sundays at Ho-Chunk Casino. Win your share of over $2,500! Buy-in $50. Entry fee $5. Sunday registration at Noon, start 3 p.m. Tuesday registration at 9:30 a.m., start 1 p.m.


Rainbow Casino:
No Smoking Poker Room consisting of 3 tables. Many forms of Poker games are offered including Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha Hold 'Em and 7 card Stud. Varieties of games offered range from structured or limit games as low as $2 to $4 to Pot-Limit and No-Limit games.

Saturday, July 26th, 2008 at Noon
$180 Buy-in & $20 Entry Fee - Players start with 12,000 in chips and the blinds go up every 30 minutes. Maximum of 120 players. First come first served.

Registration for the tournament will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with the tournament begining at Noon. Seated players will get first option. (There will be no pre-registration.)

A $50 bounty will be placed on each player at each table. You will receive $50 for every player you knock out of the tournament. The bounties come out of the prize pool.

April 25th Poker Recap

It was a fun night. Karen's Birthday. We went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner.
Got back to the Casa and Set the poker gauntlet down.

Eric Crushed the House. 3 people busted out in 2 hours. All by Eric...

First he Pulled the Runner trips to knock out Carrie.
Next he Rivered Quads to bust Myself and cripple Tracy, we both had a full house.
Next he put Tracy away.
I Bought back in...
Again Eric knocks me out with a flopped straight.

Eric couldn't be beat.

It was a good night.
Quads were shown Twice and plenty of flushes, Houses and straights. Rarely was there a win with pairs or less.

Next Poker night will be May 9th.
